Re: mutilated whale case

Thanks for the comment on this case!. Futher to your comments, whilst it is true that many people claim "alien" causes for mudane events, this particlular case is VERY intresting for the following reasons:-

1) it came right in the middle of TWO UFO waves of activity, exactly ten years apart

2) both involved injuries that could not be explained away by experts, these injuries were very simular to so-called " cattle mutilations" cases involving UFO activity.

3) both occured in the same spot of our coastline.

it's very nice to hear that someone has read "the rising of the moon", not least of all because I co-wrote the book with Jon!..LOL!!!. The book itself has sold some 1200 copies of it's first edition (1999) and is now available from amazon etc, in a new second edition, which includes photos! (hurrah!).

one futher strange thing about this, these events happened in 1987 and 1997, in the same month of the year. Also Exmouth and the surrounding area had under gone a UFO wave of activy every ten years from 1907-1997, BUT last year (2007) we had hardly any activty, however a whale was found on a nearby beach, early in the year. Why no UFO activity last year?....not an idea on that one!..mabye it was a galatic bank holiday!..

argue..argue...everyware!

I don't know what it is, but everyware I go I seem to end up in a argument!, most often over my subject of the paranormal. Take for instanse, my membership of the "most haunted"forum. Over the last two days or so, I have had a running debate over the case of the two mutilated whales, found on the shoreline, down here in Exmouth, in 1997 and 1987. Because I stated that these cases occured during UFO waves of activity in the area, then a cetain person on the forum thought that I was infering that aliens were responsible for these events!. NOT
SO!.....I tend to think that these barbaric acts are bring carried out by humans, why?..god only knows,

sunday again!....as if it matters!

Kids fighting, tv on, and the same old routine!...ah! the joys of family life eh?. It never ceases to amaze me that, despite of all our moaning about the trials of families, we humans still love it so much. For me, weekends do not seem all that different to weekdays. Working from home catapults one into a totally different lifestyle. Writing, being a creative process, requires a cetain ammount of peace and quiet, if one is to achieve it well, or so I belive. However, this does go with family life!. The edn result is that I tend to do most of my writing late at night, after everone is in bed. However, this has the drawback of meaning that I tend to be very sleepy first thing in the morning, just the time when both parents are needed to be on top form, to deal with the kids etc. One has to perform a very fine balancing act here. The end result is that my dear wife really does have to deal with things a lot more than she should!. What would we all do without her I wonder?.. God bless wifes everyware!

life as a titanic extra!

Oh dear!..such is life, as both a husband and father!..just as think life could not get any worse, then along comes such a domestic bad time, that you consider becoming a tibitan monk, high up on Ben Nevis, complete with kilt, even in the depths of winter!....

It all began with the rather strange apperence of large puddles of water, overnight, in our kitchen. We hav now traced these rather large deposists of water back to a pipe leading to the cold tap, on our bath, in the bathroom above! Ah!..I hear you say, simply call in a local pumber, to fix said leak. Now this has proved rahter more difficult than one might imagine think!.After some 28 calls to local tradesmen (all of which were answered by that blight of modern times, the answering service!) I have now finaly got hold of a plumber, and now awiit is visit to my rahter soggy home, to see just how much this leak is going to cost me to fix!..Don't worry folks!, I have my first aid party ready, in time for my first heart attack, after being told the price! At the time of writing this, my wallet is convulsing on the floor beneath me, at the mere thought of the ammount to be quoted.....I shall report the outcome in due course!...

many thanks for the welcome!

to my great surprise, A blogger has welcomed me ( a humble beginner) to this fantastic platform!. Thanks to the blogger for his warm comments, and I hope my ramblings can live up to his expections!.

One thing which is rather weird, has happened to me tonight. As tea was being cooked, there came from the kitchen, a strange, high pitched whine. My wife was taking out some yorkshire puddings from the oven at the time, and her oven glove had slipped off. Has anyone out there ever noticed the strange effect a red hot baking tray can have the female of the species, upon contact with the skin?. Strange creatures these!..

is this the start of a beautiful thing?...

Well, here goes!, my first attempt as a blogger. Where should I begin?...perhaps a short introduction as to who I am, and what I do in my life, might be a good start. Do you find that whenever you have to write any sort of description of your life, you always end up trying to avoid sounding vain!. I mean, the mere recounting of a particular event or action, in your life, Can sound as if your trying to apply to be the next UN ambassador to the US!.

So, in a rather feeble attempt to by-pass this dilemma, I shall just list all the relevant facts of my life...here goes!...

married
50 years old ( Oh God!!!)

Passions in life: my wife Sue (of course), sci-fi,a good cup of coffee, and of course, my beloved packet of fags! (much to my wife's disgust!)
